Please be sure to read through all the information here, as different funding agencies may require specific information in the financial aid request.

  • Helmsley Fellowships: If your formal scientific training is primarily outside biology (e.g. your undergraduate degree is in computer science, physics, math, or engineering), you may be eligible for a Helmsley Fellowship and, if selected into the course you're applying to, may be provided with funds representing 51-100% of the tuition enrollment fee posted on the main course webpage (the Welcome tab above).

  • Helmsley Scholarships: If you have formal training in the biosciences but are new to the subfield covered by the course you're applying to, you may be eligible for a Helmsley Scholarship. If selected into the course, the Helmsley Scholarship will cover 31-50% of the tuition enrollment fee posted on the main course webpage (the Welcome tab above).

To be considered, please include in your financial aid request one paragraph (150-250 words) outlining the relevance of your research to solving global unmet biomedical and/or life science needs, and how you anticipate enrollment in the course will help accelerate your research to that end.
