Fellowships, Scholarships & Financial Aid

The following fellowships and scholarships are available for all courses and to all applicants (both U.S. and international), subject to individual eligibility. To be considered, submit a short financial aid request letter with your course application materials that describes your eligibility for the awards you wish to apply for. Please be sure to read through all the information here, as different funding agencies may require specific information in the financial aid request.

  • Howard Hughes Medical Institute Support: HHMI funds cover 10-30% of the tuition enrollment fee posted on the main course webpage (the Welcome tab above).

The following sources of financial aid are available only for specific courses and to specific applicants. Please check the main course webpage (the Welcome tab above) to see which agencies and/or foundations support the course you're applying for, and read through all the information here to determine your eligibility. To be considered for an award, submit a short financial aid request letter with your course application materials that describes your eligibility for the sources you wish to apply for.

  • National Institutes of Health (NIH): You may be eligible to receive a partial NIH award if you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or are based in a U.S. laboratory, and the course you're applying to is at least partially supported by the NIH. If selected into the course, you may be provided with financial aid representing 10-30% of the tuition enrollment fee posted on the main course webpage (the Welcome tab above).

  • National Science Foundation (NSF): You may be eligible to receive a partial NSF award if you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or are based in a U.S. laboratory, and the course you're applying to is at least partially supported by the NSF. If selected into the course, you may be provided with financial aid representing 10-30% of the tuition enrollment fee posted on the main course webpage (the Welcome tab above).

  • Individual Foundations: Additional aid may be available for eligible trainees enrolled in courses supported by private foundations, subject to stated financial need.
