Abstract Deadline: February 5, 2027

Organizers:

Menna Clatworthy, University of Cambridge, UK
Alexander Hoffmann, University of California, Los Angeles
Shai Shen-Orr, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Israel

We are pleased to announce the fifth Cold Spring Harbor meeting on Systems Immunology. We are looking forward to a broad-based meeting, and abstracts are welcomed on all scientific topics related to systems biology approaches to normal and pathological functions of the immune system. The meeting will be held in the evening of Tuesday, April 27, and ending at noon on Saturday, May 1, 2027.

The meeting is intended to promote cross-disciplinary exchange between experimental, computational, and mathematical biologists studying the organization, functions, and regulation of the immune system at various scales. Our goal is to establish a recurrent forum that brings together immunologists and systems biologists in this nascent field.

Topics:

  • Components and Interactions
  • Circuits and Dynamics
  • Specificity and Discrimination
  • Genetic and Epigenetic Immune Memory
  • Cell Decisions and Hematopoiesis
  • Multi-Cell Immune Response Coordination
  • Dysregulation and Autoimmunity
  • Host-Pathogen Antagonism
  • Engineering Immunity

The format of the meeting will include eight oral sessions and two poster sessions. Each oral session will include invited speakers and speakers selected from submitted abstracts. For this reason, abstracts from both junior and senior investigators are warmly invited. The abstracts should focus on new and unpublished data. The organizers will select abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

We are eager to have as many young people as possible attend, and we have applied for funds from the government and industry to partially support graduate students and postdocs. All questions pertaining to registration, fees, housing, meals, transportation, visas, abstract submission, financial aid, or any other matters should be directed to Val Pakaluk.
