We are pleased to announce the eleventh Cold Spring Harbor conference on Neuronal Circuits, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, and run through lunch on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

A comprehensive description of neuronal circuitry, an old dream of neuroscientists, is about to become a reality with recent technological advances. As these advances have been made in different model organisms and systems, there is a need for a forum where neuroscientists studying various neuronal circuits could exchange ideas.

This CSHL meeting will allow for neuroscientists working on neuronal circuits in a wide range of model organisms, from invertebrates to mammals, to come together and discuss their research. Contributions from research, centered on neuronal circuits involving anatomical, physiological, theoretical, and behavioral approaches, will be encouraged.

Topics and Discussion Leaders:

SESSION I: Collective Behavior

SESSION II; Circuit Computation

SESSION III: Next-Gen Anatomy & Cell Typing

SESSION IV: Large Scale Recordings

SESSION V: Learning Across the Lifespan

SESSION VI:  Sensation & Proprioception

SESSION VII: Circuits for Cognition

Abstracts are welcomed on all scientific topics related to the structure or function of neuronal circuits. They should contain only new and unpublished material and must be submitted electronically by the abstract deadline. Selection of material for oral and poster presentations will be made by the organizers and individual session chairs. Status (talk/poster) of abstracts will be posted on our website as soon as decisions have been made by the organizers.

We are eager to have as many young people as possible attend since they are likely to benefit most from this meeting. We have applied for funds from government and industry to partially support graduate students and postdocs. Apply in writing stating the need for financial support to Val Pakaluk. Preference is given to those submitting abstracts.

All questions pertaining to registration, fees, housing, meals, transportation, visas, abstract submission, or any other matters may be directed to Val  Pakaluk
