October 7 - 11, 2015
Abstract Deadline: August 12, 2015

Organizers:
Konrad Hochedlinger, Massachusetts General Hospital     Fiona Watt, Kings College London, UK     Marius Wernig, Stanford University

We are pleased to host the third meeting on Stem Cell Biology, which will begin with dinner and a 7:30 pm session on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 and end with departure after breakfast on Sunday, October 11.

The meeting will focus on the basic biology of stem cells and the dynamic interactions between stem cells and their microenvironment or niche. Topics will include the mechanisms controlling stem cell proliferation, differentiation, pluripotency and reprogramming. Emerging concepts about the regulation of multipotent cells during early embryo development, tissue regeneration and tumor progression will be emphasized.

Topics:
Control of Pluripotency
Cellular Reprogramming
Stem Cells & Epigenetics
Tissue Stem Cells & Regeneration
Therapy with Stem Cells
Neural Stem Cells

The format of the meeting will include eight oral sessions and two poster sessions. Each oral session will include invited speakers and speakers selected from submitted abstracts. For this reason, abstracts from accomplished junior and senior investigators are warmly invited. The abstracts should focus on new and unpublished data. The organizers will select abstracts for oral or poster presentations. The status (talk/poster) of abstracts will be posted on our web site (below) as soon as decisions have been made. We have applied for funds from government and industry to partially support graduate students and postdocs.

We hope to see you at Cold Spring Harbor in October.
