This year is the centenary of the birth of Francis Crick. Best known for the discovery with Jim Watson of the DNA double helix, Crick made major contributions to x-ray crystallography and deciphering the genetic code. His move into neuroscience stimulated research on difficult problems like consciousness. Speakers in this symposium will celebrate Crick’s many accomplishments. The meeting will be held in Grace Auditorium, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, on Monday May 16, commencing at 9.30am and ending by 4pm.
