The current COVID-19 situation is challenging and difficult for all of us - we hope this virtual conference will allow colleagues to share and discuss their latest research, while under travel and stay-at-home restrictions.
The thirteenth biennial meeting on Mechanisms & Models of Cancer is going fully virtual and will begin late morning EST on Tuesday August 11 and end late afternoon EST on Friday August 14, 2020. Oral sessions will be confined to later morning and afternoon sessions EST to maximize access by participants from around the world. An outline program will be posted following further discussion with the organizers.
The specific goal of this conference is to bring together a diverse group of scientists studying various molecular, genetic, biochemical and animal model approaches to the analysis of cancer. Junior and senior researchers will join to discuss their latest research findings and technical approaches toward the analysis of cancer models and mechanisms.
The format of the meeting will include morning and afternoon virtual sessions consisting of eight or nine 15-minute talks per session, selected from the abstracts, principally on unpublished work. In addition, there will be two poster sessions. The organizers will decide the suitability of each abstract for oral or poster presentation, but please specify if you prefer a poster.
