NY Area Meeting in Quantitative Biology
Making Use of Emerging Technologies

This will be a one-day meeting for researchers in the greater New York area. It is the second in a series of annual meetings on the general topic of quantitative biology, with a different focus each year. This year's focus will be on computational methods for making use of emerging technologies. 

The program will consist of four invited 30-minute lectures and several shorter talks selected from abstracts. The day will be rounded out by a luncheon, a poster session, and a late-afternoon barbecue on the CSHL beach. The meeting is expected to begin at 10:00 am and conclude about 8:00 pm. The meeting program will be available by July 14th.

Registration and Abstracts:

There is no registration fee, but registration is required. Registration includes Lunch & BBQ Dinner on the Beach. 

Participants will be responsible for their own travel. Free shuttle service will be provided from the LIRR Syosset Station.

Abstracts must be submitted electronically by the abstract deadline (June 23rd). Selection of material for oral and poster presentation will be made by the organizers; submitters will be notified of their status approximately one-month prior to the meeting. We especially encourage students and postdoctoral associates to submit abstracts for presentation.
