Laureen Connell is the Assistant Editor of the scientific journal Genes & Development, published by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press. She obtained her B.S. in Biochemistry at Binghamton University, NY, and her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at SUNY Stony Brook. After completing her thesis research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in David Helfman's lab, she started working at Genes & Development in 2003.
