are cordially invited to participate in the twelfth biannual international
meeting on Yeast Cell Biology which will be held at Cold Spring
Harbor Laboratory. The meeting will begin at 7.30pm (after dinner)
on Tuesday, August 11, and will conclude with lunch on Saturday,
August 15, 2009. The format of the meeting will include morning
and evening sessions consisting of short talks, limited to approximately
12 minutes, principally on unpublished work. This meeting will
cover all aspects of yeast cell biology, including, but not limited
to, the following topics:

• Translocation and Secretion
• Cytoskeleton & Cell Polarity
• Elements of Chromosome Structure & Function
• Organelle Structure & Function

should contain only new and unpublished material and
must be submitted electronically by the abstract deadline. Selection
of material for oral and poster presentation will be made by the
organizers and individual session chairs. Status (talk/poster)
of abstracts will be posted on our web site as soon as decisions
have been made by the organizers.
We are eager to have as many young people as possible attend since
they are likely to benefit most from this meeting. Apply in writing
to beavers@cshl.edu stating
need for financial support - preference is given to those submitting
abstracts.
