We are pleased to announce the fifth Cold Spring Harbor winter biotechnology conference on Systems Biology: Global Regulation of Gene Expression, which will begin at 7:30 pm on Thursday, March 29 and run through lunch on Sunday, April 1, 2007. The conference is intended to foster cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas and expertise between experimentalists and computational biologists interested in the organization and control of complex transcription networks in eukaryotes. While a number of speakers have been invited, please note that the majority of oral presentations will be drawn from openly submitted abstracts.

Keynote Speaker:
Uri Alon, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel

Topics:
Genomic Regulatory Elements
Transcriptional Regulatory Networks
Evolution of Transcriptional Regulatory Networks
Epigenetics and Transcription
Analysis of Transcriptional Dynamics in Cells
Post-Transcriptional Processes
