This pre-conference workshop is intended to serve as a resource for investigators, especially graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, who wish to become more familiar with some of the basic and/or state-of-the-art technologies and concepts that will be discussed during the 2008 Systems Biology Meeting. In previous years, we have organized two parallel track workshops with an emphasis on bioinformatics and molecular biology. In 2008, we have decided to merge these two tracks into a single track workshop will explore four major themes likely to feature heavily at the meeting.

Workshop topics will be refined to maximize the coverage of areas as reflected in the submitted abstracts.

Workshop attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive on the evening of Wednesday March 26 for a pre-workshop reception and discussion. The workshop will start promptly at 9am on Thursday morning.
