past program

We are pleased to announce a new Cold Spring Harbor winter conference on Imaging Neurons & Neural Activity: New Methods, New Results, which will begin at 7:30 pm on Thursday, March 22 and run through lunch on Sunday, March 25, 2007. We are looking forward to a broad-based meeting, and abstracts are welcomed on all scientific topics related to imaging neuronal structure and function (Light, EM, MRI) and manipulation of neuronal function (using genetics, light, chemistry). This unique forum is designed to stimulate future research studies in this important area and to promote interactions amongst researchers in diverse basic scientific areas relevant to this field.

Keynote Addresses: Richard Axel, Columbia University, HHMI

Topics and Discussion Leaders:

Controlling Neural Activity with Light
Karl Deisseroth, Stanford University
Stefan Herlitze, Case Western Reserve University
Richard Kramer, University of California, Berkeley
