We are pleased to announce the inaugural International Forum on Laboratory Design, partnered with the German Laborrunde Conference, to be held at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, New York. The meeting will begin with a reception in the evening of Sunday March 15 and end on Wednesday March 18, 2009.

This conference aims to encourage exchange between US and international experts in the planning, building and operation of laboratory buildings and facilities. The three day program will include 2 days of talks and presentations at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, New York, and one/two optional days dedicated to exclusive visits to research buildings on the eastern seaboard (visits are planned to XX, XX, XX). Each platform session will feature presentations by one invited US and one international expert ranging from architects to laboratory planners to laboratory operator/facilities manager and will end with substantial time for discussion.

Abstracts are invited for consideration as poster presentations.
