We are pleased to announce the ninth Cold Spring Harbor winter biotechnology conference on Systems Biology: Global Regulation of Gene Expression, which will begin at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, March 18 and run through lunch on Saturday, March 22, 2014. The conference is intended to foster cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas and expertise between experimentalists and computational biologists interested in the organization and control of complex transcription networks in eukaryotes. While a number of speakers have been invited, please note that the majority of oral presentations will be drawn from openly submitted abstracts.

Keynote Speakers:
Naama Barkai, Weizmann Institute of Science
Stuart Orkin, Dana Farber Cancer Institute

Topics:
Transcriptional Regulatory Networks
Cis-Regulatory Logic
Chromatin & Epigenetics
Post-transcriptional Regulation
Variation & Evolution
Emerging Technologies
Developmental Networks & Cellular Responses

Invited Speakers:
Mike Beer, Johns Hopkins University
Martha Bulyk, Brigham & Womens Hospital and Harvard Medical School
Stirling Churchman, Harvard Medical School
Howard Chang, Stanford University School of Medicine HHMI
Brent Graveley, University of Connecticut Health Center

Abstracts should contain only new and unpublished material and must be submitted electronically by the abstract deadline. Selection of material for oral and poster presentation will be made by the organizers and individual session chairs. Status (talk/poster) of abstracts will be posted on our web site as soon as decisions have been made by the organizers.
